A holiday tradition in Shorewood, bringing to your attention the best (and least tasteful) displays of illuminating holiday cheer found within our neighborhood. Prizes awarded are as follows:
- Grand Prize
- 1st Runner Up
- Highest Wattage
- Most original
If you would like to participate in one or more of these categories you need not apply, but you must have your decorations completed by the last night of the contest judging when the judges will be prowling about the neighborhood awarding prized.
Catagory winners will find a sign temporarily placed in front of their home designating their superiority over the rest of us and will also win free dues for the upcoming year. They may also receive a glorious prize of some kind commemorating the event for future generations. If they do get something else it will be a surprise to all of us.
And, of course, we will make you famous in the January issue of the Shorewood News.
